A male infant presents for his two week check-up in your office. He was born after a 37 week gestation uncomplicated pregnancy, labor, and delivery to a primigravida mother. Birth weight was 3.1 kg. Discharge weight at 36 hours of age was 2.95 kg. Mother is nursing him on both breasts every four hours during the day. At night he sleeps 6 hours between feedings. She feels that breastfeeding is going well. Physical exam reveals a very alert bright-eyed infant who is looking around. His weight is 2.95 kg. The remainder of the physical exam is unremarkable.

Q1: How is this baby doing?

Q2: Should anything be done? If so, what?
